Logan Paul, who is a co-founder of PRIME alongside internet personality KSI, came out to address these claims in a recent TikTok video. Logan states:
"First off, anyone can sue anyone at any time; that does not make the lawsuit true, and in this case, it is not. There's claims that PFOs or forever chemicals come from plastic. So in this case, they’re not talking about the actual drink the liquid PRIME they're talking about the bottle that PRIME is manufactured in".
Logan also went on to mention that PRIME uses the same bottle manufacturers as well known brands such as Coke, Pepsi, and Dr Pepper.
"We follow Title 21, the Code of Regulations for PET and all other types of bottles. The products are manufactured by our company in a manner compliant with all pertinent and current good manufacturing practices by the United States Food and Drug Administration. All of our suppliers use GMP facilities".
"They're claiming that Prime has 0.06 (parts per trillion). But that's interesting because the EPA says anything under 1.1 (parts per trillion) can not be deemed as reasonably accurate. They don’t have the right tools or resources to even prove what they're claiming".
Logan also commented that the state water that they use to make PRIME is heavily filtered before use:
"Water you drink at home; water provided by the state that we filter before we make it into PRIME. If this claim about PFOS and PFAs is true, what is that saying about your state water?".
Claims have also been made that the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) had been investigating PRIME - to which Logan claims has never happened to this date.
Finally, Logan has pledged to take legal action against those making these claims unless an apology was issued.
We will obviously be following this story as it progresses and keeping you up to date. In the meantime, you can watch Logan's entire video on this topic below:
